Adjusting Rear Coilover Damper

I installed my BC coilovers over a week ago and it rides great i wanted to wait for the springs to settle before i really mess around with the damper settings.

My question is how do you adjust the rear damper setting without lifting and taking the strut out? if its possible.

The only way is to drill a hole so you can install the extenders. I think there's a diy for it.

yep, at the very least you'll have to remove the two bolts at the top and compress the strut to give yourself some working room.

Based on the pic above, you have two options. Doing it as shown in the pic linked to above, with the **** exiting in that cavity behind the seats (it's too short to exit to the top and behind the rear seats), or re-routing the cable back into the trunk from where the hole exits which will require another hole-drilling.

If you decide on the former, here's my DIY on how to "extend" those cables so it'll exit above and behind the rear seats. This allows you to adjust it without removing the rear seats.

Your other alternative is to ask BC to swap out your existing struts with the newer ones where the adjustment **** is more accessible (don't have a pic, but it's basically on the top-half of the body... you'll be able to adjust just by lifting the car and turning the *****).

You gotta add a pic showing what/where the extender is inside the cabin Mike
