Transmission Flush Nissan.

They just quoted me for $380 for the flush, and like $220 for the drain and fill?

That to me seems very high, are these the right prices? I tried going to AAMCO before and they said they were not able to do it because it requires the OEM fluid.

My bad, there to separate things. The flush includes the drain and fill I believe but it they use some sort of method to completely clear it out, as the drain and fill is exactly how it sounds. So its one or the other. At least from my understanding.

wow

For that price buy a air compressor and do it yourself. then fill it with a nice aftermarket fluid... in the end you will pay about the same but you get to keep the compressor.

OMG, did you ask them if you had "Stupid" written on your forehead? I had Nissan R&R ALL the fluids in my coupe and paid less than $300. Search an auto parts store that sells Red Line synthetic trans fluid and take that to AAMCO and have them change it. You'll be $ ahead and using the best fuilds available.

If your still got Tranny Warranty, I would go with Matic-S, you can buy it online cheaper

Rather than paying for shipping you can buy Matic-S from the parts counter at Nissan....if you're still under warranty, if not go with the Red Line synthetic trans fluid!

How are they the same jutn35? Flush, they drain/fill run the car for a while then drain and refull so you're using considerably more fluid. That's why they charge way more for a flush over just a drain/fill....
