still not many people and their feedbacks for F&F, I'm curious to know more about them also. I often turned down FS threads of Form & Functions due to the lack of info and reviews.

BTW and FYI, when i was inquiring about the BC's, they have optional shorter springs for the rear. If I remember correctly, an additional inch of lowering for the same price.

Thanks for the input guys. does anyone know of someone/have pictures of people running bc coils and f&f coils on the lowest settings? I know I've seen some before but of course once you need them you can't find them...

anyone know if shane is maxed there?

edit: also sent a pm to shane asking him to chime in, so with any luck we might get his input as well.

Here's my function and form...not on lowest setting because i couldnt get out of shanes garage cos I was too low (with oem bumper and front lip). I literally couldnt turn my wheels lol. I had more room to go too.

i have function and form coils.
but once in awhile when i drive over rough roads i hear a faint squeak.
i duno if its coming from the coils or from bad bushings.

but overall the ride quality is nice, i didnt adjust the dampening. i just
left it how it came from the factory.

not the best pic but yea like Donpisto said much more room to go lower.

Anyone put the BC coils through their paces (ie track or even some twisty hill runs)? How'd you like them and how did they perform?

Stock:

BC Racing BR-Type standard springs (rears set as low as possible, front set moderately low):

BC Racing BR-Type shorter rear springs (rears set as low as possible, front set to match the rear):

Yes, the fronts can go lower. You could set the front of the car on the ground if you wanted to. If you cut the rear spring mounts, you might get a little more drop out of the rear as well. If you really want to do an extreme lowering job on your car, I'd suggest a true coilover setup instead of the BR-Type with the separated (factory) style rear shock and spring setup.

*April 2009 Update*
Springs appear to have settled a bit. Here is the current height 6 months after install:
^ FYI, I was able to get that ride height on that last pic with one of the perch rings removed with the standard(not the shorter) rear spring. My 19in tire was half way tucked passed the fender. Then again, we get more of a drop on the G than 350Z with a same spec springs/coilovers.

I have f&f and I like them. I have them on full stiff and ride isn't bad. Talk to some of the vendors on the comparision between them and stance and u will b surprised on what you hear.

Here is mine, I could prob go another inch lower in the back and 1.5 to 2 up front.

right about to pull the trigger, last question: does anyone know how much lower the shorter springs for bc's allow it to drop? still not close to that of f&f?

^ with the shorter springs, My guess is that on the coupe, it drops the fender right at the rim of a 19inch wheel(similar to johnnyone's rear height on his sedan)maximum, since the standard rear springs drops the fender about a little pass the tire, just above halfway of the tire's profile. It'll be the maximum for the BC in the rear, but as what johnnyone stated, he can lower it some more with the F&F.

I can't drive my car being that super low anyways, especially here in Baltimore, so F&F's slammage capability would've been useless for me.
